The Acura RSX, Acura MDX and Honda CR-V received "Best in Class" honors in the Automotive Market Environmental Sensitivity Awards (AMES) for outstanding fuel economy and low emissions presented by R.L. Polk & Co.

Amesawards.com, a public source for vehicle environmental performance, and R.L. Polk & Co., an independent automotive industry information analyst, jointly announced the awards. Amesaward.com examines tailpipe emissions and fuel economy to develop a vehicle's environmental performance rating and classifies recommended vehicles as "Best in Class" or "Preferred."

The following Honda and Acura vehicles scored a "Best in Class" ranking:

    * Acura RSX (Sporty Car)
    * Acura MDX (Midsize SUV)
    * Honda CR-V (Compact SUV)
